GD Goenka Group is proud to have been a corporate contributor to the CII Delhi Education Summit 2025, a platform that brought together education leaders, policymakers, and young changemakers to shape the future of learning.

Dr. Amrita Bahl, Chief Education Officer, GD Goenka Group, convened this landmark event, setting the stage for critical discussions on reimagining education with youth voices at the centre. As she emphasised, the future must be co-authored with those who will inherit it.

In her address, Dr. Bahl raised fundamental questions about the future of learning: How do we prepare learners for 2047? How do we balance tradition with progress? And most importantly, how do we ensure that education remains deeply human and relevant in a world shaped by AI and automation? She highlighted the urgent need to align higher education and skilling, ensuring that students graduate not just with degrees but with adaptability and resilience. She also underscored the role of AI & EdTech; not as replacements for educators but as tools to amplify human potential.

One of the summit’s key themes was youth-led transformation. Dr. Bahl celebrated the boldness of young leaders across industries, from climate activists to entrepreneurs, reaffirming the importance of placing youth at the heart of policy and decision-making.

Dr. Smitha Girija, Dean, School of Management at GD Goenka University, joined as a panellist for the session on Bridging Higher Education and Skilling for a Dynamic Workforce. This discussion explored the critical intersection of academia and industry, focusing on strategies to equip students with future-ready skills, foster industry-academia collaboration, and ensure a seamless transition from education to employment.

Advaita Nair, a student and youth representative from GD Goenka Public School, Vasant Kunj, brought the student perspective to the conversation. As a panellist in the session on Youth-Led Transformation: Empowering Student Voices in Policy & Decision-Making, she contributed to discussions on how young leaders can drive meaningful change, shape policies, and create a more inclusive and innovative future.

The insights shared at the summit set the foundation for real progress. As we move towards the vision for Viksit Bharat 2047, GD Goenka Group remains committed to building an education system that is inclusive, forward-thinking, and impact-driven.
