The international General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is a curriculum and assessment system for schools and colleges around the world. Students who attain IGCSE Qualifications are well educated, adaptable and thoroughly prepared for their next steps in education and employment, including progression to IB Diploma programme, or other international qualifications. IGCSE is a two years programme( comprising Classes 9th and 10th ) that caters to the needs of the students with diverse interests and abilities. The Cambridge IGCSE is a curriculum and assessment system, suitable for students who are ready to move around the world. CIE provides a choice for core and extended papers in most subjects. The extended level is designed to stretch the most capable students.(In English Lang, Foreign Lang, Mathematics and Sciences only).

Teaching Methodology

Compulsory Subjects:
- English Literature
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Biology, Chemistry, Physics (at least two, may choose all three)
- ESL**/French/German/Hindi/Spanish ( any one )
(** Student opting for ESL can’t opt for English Lit. & Lang., Spanish, German, French or Hindi )

Select minimum one subject from the subjects mentioned below. (The minimum enrolment required to offer a subject is five candidates)

Examination System
For the IGCSE batch, there will be four Terms with examinations in:
- November (Year 1-Grade 9)
- May (Year 1- Grade 9)
- November ( Year 2- Grade 10)
- March 2015 –Pre-boards( Year 2-Grade 10)
- May-June 2015 -Final IGCSE Exams-(Year 2- Grade 10)
(The continuous assessments throughout will be done by way of class tests and Weekly tests.)
