ADITI SHARMA, Student of G. D. Goenka Public School won many laurels in Western Music Competitions. Presently she is singing for Bollywood.
Akshay Sharma of XI-C and Abir Joshi of XII-B participated in Indian Model United Nations. Out of 110 schools from India and Asia, Akshay and Abir were declared as the Best Delegates.
Vidyut Singh scored 14th position in Under 12 All India Golf Tournament..
Sumer Bhatia of IV-B got selected in Mozart Children’s Choir headed by Austrian Embassy and Pandit Ravi Shankar. He, along with his choir performed in Austria and all over the world. Also, he had an opportunity of performing twice in Rashtrapati Bhawan.
Sanchita Aggarwal of IX-B won the Gold Medal in National Level Art Competition.
Nakul Khanna of XII-B won 1st prize in Tech-Talks Competition at Symposium- Interface.
Parnika Kaura of XII-E and Sumer Bhatia of IV-B got selected for “AWAAZ” - a musical programme telecast by ZEE Channel. Parnika reached Semi-Finals whereas Sumer anchored the show.
Abhilasha Sinha of XI-A scored 7th position in Delhi State Maths Olympiad organized by Ramanujan Society.
Niharika Chabbra of XI-A won the 1st prize in Object Sketching in Chunauti.
Nakul Khanna and Aditi Mohan of XI bagged 2nd position and a trophy in the Lok Sabha Television organized by HT PACE Brain Blitz.
Siddhant Aggarwal, Riten Chaddha, Armaan Rai and Arjun Rekhi of Xth Std won the 1st prize in ROBO KNIGHTS where 75 teams from 60 schools participated.
Aditi Mohan and Nakul Khanna of XI won the Best Team and Best Speakers award in Lok Sabha Television held at Parliament House.
Nakul Khanna of XI-B and Kanak Bose of X-C bagged the Best Position Papers and Best Delegate Award in D.P.S Model United Nations held at India Habitat Centre.
Yamini Joshi of X-D won 1st prize in European Solo Singing Competition.
Kanak Bose of XI-C won in the Zonal round as well as regional round for the National round. He emerged as one of the finalists in the debate of National Level.
Nakul Khanna of XII-B was adjudged the best Interjector out of 23 participating Schools in Dhruv Rajgarhia Memorial Debate.
School participated in ‘ALCHEMIST’ WORDZ MUN held in Convention Centre, Chandigarh. Students bagged Best Position Paper, Best Delegation, and Commendation.
Students of G.D Goenka School, Vasant Kunj were adjudged as Best Delegates in their respective committees in INMUN CONFRENCE held at Ryan International, Faridabad Nakul Khanna and Abhinav Bansal of XII-B got selected for IRIS -2008. Their patented Invention was one of the 100 projects selected from 1000 all over India. They represented team India at INTEL ISEF, held in U.S.A.
Western Music Band of the School won the 1st position in “CRECENDO” - Western Music Competition in Amity International School.
Western Music Band of the School won the 1st prize in “M - Extasy” held in Modern School, Vasant Vihar. Sidhhant Aggarwal was declared the Best Guitarist.
Western Music Band won in “RENDITION 2009” held in Suncity World School. Siddhant Aggarwal bagged the Best Guitarist.
Students representing G.D Goenka School, Vasant Kunj bagged Best Delegate, Commendation Award in RYAN IN MUN - 2009 held in Scope Complex, Lodhi Road.
Students of G.D.Goenka Pulic School, vasant kunj Participated in UNA/USA MUN conference in New York City. The school was the only participating school from india.The UNA? USA model UN Conference is considered to be one of the most prestigious in the world. The team consisted of Kartavya a Sharma, Arjun Rekhi, Kanak Bose, Armaan Rai , Devesh lalwani and Vidur Arora. They one various laurels in this International event.
